The term “Thespian” is used to describe a high school student who is a member of their school’s troupe of the International Thespian Society. While we welcome all students from a troupe to our events, those who are not inducted are known to us as “Future Thespians.”
Induction into Thespians opens up many more opportunities for those who are serious about theatre. Only inducted Thespians may run to be a State Thespian Officer. Only inducted Thespians may participate in our College and Thespian Scholarship Auditions at State. And only inducted Thespians may participate in the Thespys at the International Thespian Festival.
