The Indiana Thespians Hall of Fame was created in 2012 to recognize those longstanding educators in Indiana who have had a tremendous impact on the work of theatre education. It is important that the nominees have some connection to the work of Indiana Thespians and/or the Educational Theatre Association.

The nomination window opens each fall, with the new class being inducted at the State Conference each January. The first qualification is that they must have 20 completed years of service in educational theatre.

It is a tradition to surprise the members of each new class with their induction. We have snuck family, friends, and co-workers to the conference each year to surprise the members of the class to help them celebrate!
